The kids from Home Improvement seem to have grown up to all take different routes after the show and, in some cases, things didn't work out so great. Nowadays, the former child star has taken up Work behind the camera and proceeded into producing characters. His latest achievement was making the 2011 movie The Grief Tourist. It is a far cry from the life that he led as a kid actor.

She’s not quite the household name that others on the show are, but she hosts her own travel show. She married a pro volleyball player, and she had three kids. She and her husband are no longer together, but she is still hosting her show. Today, the former ’90s star is a family man with four kids, including twin daughters whom he welcomed in 2014.

He exited the show before the end of the series to attend school, with his last episode airing during season 8 in December 1998. Jonathan Taylor Thomas, who played Randy on Home Improvement, left before the series ended so he could go to school in real life. From high school, he went on to Harvard and then Columbia. He later voiced a character in The Wild Thornberrys, and had roles in 8 Simple Rules, Smallville, and Last Man Standing, the latter of which reunited him with his Home Improvement dad, Tim Allen.
We just saw him last night in a commercial for a flooring company on television, and that’s because he hasn’t gone anywhere. He played the role of Al Borland, Tim’s trusty assistant – and we say trusty because he’s the only one who knew a thing about home improvement and safety (details, right?). He’s been quite busy in the years since being part of the Home Improvement cast. He’s a game show host and a television star, and he’s in the commercials. Home Improvement premiered back in 1991 (!!!) and spanned for eight successful seasons before it went off the air in 1999.
