Too many people will only post complaints...but I like to let people know when a place is good! I highly recommend Conway Lakes and would not hesitate to go there again or refer a friend or loved one. Speech-language therapy helps patients improve their communication skills in speaking, problem solving, reading, writing, and verbal expressions.
My husband stayed at Conway Lakes Health & Rehabilitation Center for three-and-a-half weeks. It was clean, but his room was dreary and was not well-lit. He had a roommate, and that nice, homey feeling was not there. He got his therapy and he got his meals, but there was not a lot of interaction with the staff.

However, nothing beats actually visiting the nursing home yourself when possible. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services does their best to provide a fair assessment of every Nursing Home, but please note these ratings are a snapshot in time. The last time this data was collected they cared for at least 200 men and 311 women in a one year period that received Medicare benefits. This number fluctuates with each new resident.
He was kind of depressed there, and he went to an activity I think once, and it just wasn't his thing. They brought everything and he didn't care for it. He understands the blandness because they're preparing for so many people with so many different diets. He didn't like that mashed-up stuff they gave him all the time.

Fire safety, emergency preparation and disaster planning, and maintenance of sprinkler systems are just a few of the facility’s physical plant features that are reviewed and scored in this measure.
Centre Pointe has been recognized as a 5 Star facility by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and has received the Governor’s Gold Seal. Our facility has been certified by the JCAHO Joint Commission on Accreditation for Health Care Organizations. My Mom was at this facility for about 15 days, and from her experience, I would not recommend this place to anyone. My mother is on a gluten-free diet, and they could not get her dietary needs correct During her whole stay. Thankfully my father and I live five minutes away and were able to bring her what she needed. Then there was the nurses aides, Whose Attentiveness was next to none.
Please note that the pricing above is the average billed to Medicare. (Supplemental Insurance / Medicare Advantage Plans, single or double rooms, etc). The staff here overall was excellent, from nursing to therapy. I appricaiate all the great care I received while here.

Additionally, a Physical Therapist is available an average of 8.34 minutes per day per resident . One of the best Rehabilitation facilities I've visited. On behalf of my family we want to say thank you for the generous support and the care given to... Residential feel, professional and friendly staff. We are dedicated to cultivating an environment where patients are treated like family with amenities that feel like home. Needs to review the security of your connection before proceeding.
